Peace between technology and nature is our definition of sustainability.
The Organic Mechanic's Goal Number 1 is to accelerate the adoption of green technology as it is an effective means of preserving our home planet and providing an abundance of energy. A peace between civilization and it's ecosystems through these means is not only possible, it is essential. It will be sustainable. OM's purpose is to share with you how this can be accomplished.
Organic Mechanic's purpose is to empower people like you with the technology, information, and services to switch to green energy. We aim to take all the roadblocks out of the way. How can we help you go greener? Use Your Voice to let us know what can be improved so that we can fulfill your project dreams and our mission better.

Origins
OM's green energy experiences began as a group of friends very passionate about creating a better world. We ended up having the adventures of a lifetime. We wanted to communicate in a loud way that there are solutions available today. Our plan was to propel our team around the country in a school bus powered by used cooking oil. We started the project with community activism, teaching about biofuels and the promises of renewable cleaner energy sources. We lectured at universities, elementary and high schools, presented at Earth Day celebrations, met with local political and environmental interest groups, and organized media appearances with TV, radio, and local newspapers. A good start!
From there it was only natural to begin distributing the devices we taught about. More than five years later we are still at it, and more than ever are prepared to help you go green.
We began spreading these ideas before global warming was a mainstream idea. this is because we believe that the air we breathe and water we drink should be safe from pollution, that nature deserves to be free from careless impact, and that energy supply is far better when it is independent, affordable, and abundant. There is a way through the climate challenge, and it is much greener on the other side. A new world of clean electricity and transportation is approaching, and the Organic Mechanic exists to empower people every day with the information and technology needed to make this future a reality. This is why we are committed to sharing the best green solutions, and providing everyone with one-on-one care to make green choices as simple as possible.
